Teen Pregnancy, are you ready?

Although a pregnancy can be viewed as a happy time for some couples who are anticipating parenthood, for young teenagers it can be shocking and frightening to face a pregnancy.

If you find that you are a pregnant teenager, you are not on your own. There are many resources available to you through your community. Read books about pregnancy or look into education classes through your community. Many pregnancy centers can offer support and information at this time.

As you consider whether to keep the baby, look into all your available options, including an abortion alternative.

Talk to an adoption center to gain more information about the process. They can offer you valuable resources, including counseling and the ability to talk with others who are or have been in your situation.

Accept the situation and determine what is best for you and your baby. Although it can be a scary time, a pregnancy may become a blessing in disguise.
